Well it's been awhile since I last posted, a lot going on in my life these days, so free time has been at a minimum, but I'm back and ready to roll. You might remember a few weeks ago I posted about this awesome site I found Tagxedo and I created some prints for my family for Valentine's Day. The ones I posted the last time were just some test prints I did, just incase the family happened to read my blog, I didn't want them to see their Valentine's Day gifts. I took the real prints to Staples and had them enlarged, it only cost me $2.00 for 4 enlargements. Over the weekend I found some awesome frames at The Christmas Tree Shop for just $5.99 each. So total cost per gift $7.00 not bad. Imagine my delight while I was checking my e-mail today and I see Pottery Barn Teen is having a sale, when I open to their web page I see these beauties
and they are on "Sale" for $29.99!!!! They are almost identical to the ones I bought at The Christmas Tree Shop for just $5.99, I just love a good bargain.
The frame and print for my daughter matches her bedroom wall color exactly.
My Hubby and Kids really loved their gifts and I love the fact that they were something I made myself and that they were so easy and inexpensive! What they say is true, it is better to give than to receive!
Until Next Time
Karin
